By accessing or using the GPT Desk website or extension, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the website or extension.
2. Service Description
GPT Desk provides tools intended to improve ChatGPT workflows, including features such as:
- folders and nested folders for organizing conversations
- bookmarks and message notes
- quick overview and jump navigation for long chats
- context compaction helpers for long-running threads
- website pages, support channels, and product information
We may add, remove, suspend, or change features at any time. Some future features may be released as beta, experimental, free, or paid offerings.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You may use GPT Desk only if you can lawfully enter into these Terms and use the product in your jurisdiction. The current version does not require a GPT Desk account, but you are responsible for your own browser environment, device security, and access to any third-party services you use alongside GPT Desk.
4. Limited License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the website and extension for personal or internal business use.
You may not:
- copy, sublicense, sell, or redistribute GPT Desk except as allowed by applicable law
- remove proprietary notices or misrepresent the origin of the product
- use GPT Desk in a way that violates the rights of others or applicable law
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use GPT Desk to:
- break the law or violate the terms of third-party platforms you use with the extension
- interfere with, disrupt, or abuse the product, website, or related infrastructure
- attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- upload or store malicious code through any GPT Desk-controlled workflow
- use the product in a way that creates security, privacy, or compliance risks for others
6. Third-Party Services
GPT Desk works alongside third-party services, including ChatGPT and Chrome. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and availability.
We are not responsible for third-party platforms, content, outages, API changes, UI changes, account restrictions, or policy enforcement decisions made by those providers.
7. Data and Local Storage
Core extension data is currently stored locally in your browser. You are responsible for the content you choose to save in notes, bookmarks, folders, or related workflows.
You retain responsibility for backing up or exporting your data if that matters to your workflow. We do not guarantee that local browser storage will always be preserved across browser resets, profile changes, extension removal, device loss, or other events outside our control.

8. Intellectual Property
GPT Desk, its branding, website content, design assets, and product materials are owned by GPT Desk or its licensors, except for third-party trademarks and content.
"ChatGPT" and related third-party names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Reference to those names does not imply sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement.
9. Disclaimers
GPT Desk is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, security, and error-free operation.
We do not guarantee that the extension will always be compatible with every browser version, ChatGPT UI change, workflow, device, or third-party environment.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GPT Desk and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, business opportunity, or productivity arising from or related to your use of the website or extension.
If applicable law does not allow the exclusion of certain damages, our liability will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by law.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the website, extension, or related services at any time if necessary to protect users, comply with law, address abuse, or maintain the product.
You may stop using GPT Desk at any time by discontinuing use of the website and uninstalling the extension.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of GPT Desk after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
